I was very impressed with the layout of the entire facility - the pits, the press, the track ... the entire presentation.
Everyone from Glen Helen Raceway - Dr. Bud Feldkamp (track owner) to Lori (track manager), their staff including Carl, Steve, Bob did a great job in representing the United States and California in having one of the greatest motocross tracks in America.
I sat with Dr. Wolfgang Srb, President of the FIM Motocross Commission, and he was very impressed with the preparation of everything as well, including the track, especially with the fact that the event was put on with 60 days notice. He thought everything was top notch, and is excited to have the event come back next year.

Is the combined supercross / motocross season of today's era too long?
As a former supercross and motocross racer, I don't think the season is too long. Racers want to race. But I would like to see a couple of changes that I think will make it better for the riders, teams, and most importantly, the fans.First, I'd like to see a much longer break in between the end of the Supercross season, and the start of the MX season.I think it would be great if the riders could have at least a couple off weekends off after the supercross season ends. One of the reasons is they could do more 'outdoor' testing at that time, instead of during supercross season.Doug Dubach Ryan Dungey Vic Eastwood Daryl Ecklund Erik Eggens Richard Eierstedt Jimmy Ellis Jeff Emig

Supercross will undergo a 'Pink' transformation this weekend in Anaheim to show their support and help promote Breast Cancer Awareness, including contributions to the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Orange County.
Expect to see a lot of masculine Supercross guys wearing pink riding gear, or somehow sporting the color to show their support for this great cause. Also it is a Valentines weekend, so many of the guys are getting all kinds of lady love ...John van den Berk Marnicq Bervoets Fritz Betzlbacher Dave Bickers Anthony Boissiere Frederic Bolley Xavier Boog Damon Bradshaw
