100%? It is how I try to live my life.
In 1982, I got a phone call from a guy I knew at the races. His name was Drew Lien. The conversation went like this:
Drew: I dig your bull dog style and never give up attitude. I'm starting a company and would love to sponsor you. I can't pay you right now, but I will give you all the free product you can have.
Me: Whats it called?
Drew: 100%
Me: What will you sell?
Drew: Heat shields and numbers.
Me: I'm in...
A few months later, all the top racers ran 100%: Bailey, O'mara, Ward, Glover, Lechien, Kehoe, Holley, and the list goes on.
From that point on 100% has been my life motto. I am giving 100% in whatever I do. Truck racing, coaching, working or loving my family. Win or lose. Happy or sad.
If I am giving 100%, I can go to sleep KNOWING I have done my best.
Drew has past, but his dream lives on. He was a special person with a big dream. God Speed my friend.
HOW MUCH EFFORT DO YOU GIVE?

For nearly a decade, Steve Bauer and Jeff Tilton have been putting on the Big Air Kids Fair at Loma Linda Children's Hospital. The charity event brings out Supercross, Freestyle MX and Motocross racers alike and is a great opportunity for everyone involved. This year Myles Richmond and Beau Bamburg held down freestyle duties, while racing stars like Jeremy McGrath, Andrew Short, Josh Hansen, PJ Larsen, Justin Brayton the entire Lucas Oil/TLD/Honda squad, and more came out to help bring some joy to the hospital. Take a look.

Is the combined supercross / motocross season of today's era too long?
As a former supercross and motocross racer, I don't think the season is too long. Racers want to race. But I would like to see a couple of changes that I think will make it better for the riders, teams, and most importantly, the fans.First, I'd like to see a much longer break in between the end of the Supercross season, and the start of the MX season.I think it would be great if the riders could have at least a couple off weekends off after the supercross season ends. One of the reasons is they could do more 'outdoor' testing at that time, instead of during supercross season.Sten Lundin Jeremy Lusk Billy MacKenzie Corrado Maddii Andre Malherbe Paul Malin Jacky Martens Christophe Martin
