Who dat?

This week I caught up with Kevin Windham. In the video below, Kevin Windham talks about the Superbowl Champions, the NFL's New Orleans Saints, his family, his future plans for racing and beyond.

The Superbowl XLIV champions, the New Orleans Saints, have many fans - among them is none other than the number 14 in Supercross, Kevin Windham. While the NFL season started when Supercross was in its off season, Kevin was able to take part in season tickets to his favorite NFL team - da' Saints. Eventually the 2010 Supercross season got underway in January, which meant Kevin was flying off after those Saturday night Main Events back East to watch the New Orleans Saints Playoff games.

On February 7, 2010 the New Orleans Saints headed to the Superbowl in Miami, Florida and Kevin Windham and his wife Dottie made arrangements to attend this momentous occasion. First, however Kevin had to finish up a Supercross race in San Diego the night before.

Five Things to Look For at the Salt Lake City Supercross

The gate drops on the penultimate round of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross series this Saturday night at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah. Kevin Windham took the win at last year's race, and he commented that it's the first time he's ever recalled racing in the snow.

The 2011 AMA Supercross Series championship hangs in the balance in the next 10 days. Ryan Villopoto, Chad Reed, Ryan Dungey, and James Stewart are separated by a mere nine points with only two races to go: Salt Lake City and Las Vegas.

2012 AMA Supercross Series Schedule announced

Feld Motor Sports announced today the 2012 Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, schedule, featuring the newest stop on the tour, April 14 at Louisiana's Superdome in New Orleans.

Fresh off the heels of the greatest season ever, the 2012 Monster Energy Supercross schedule is the foundation for next season's highly touted racing championship. Once again the championship will begin at Angel Stadium, on January 7 and conclude at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas on May 5, where the champion will be crowned.

Monster Energy Supercross last stop in New Orleans was in 2009 when Team San Manuel Yamaha's James Stewart won the main event en route to his second Supercross class championship.

"The 2012 Monster Energy Supercross schedule is the map to the coveted championship trophy," said Todd Jendro, senior director of two-wheel operations, Feld Motor Sports. "While 2011 is the greatest season ever, it is a primer for 2012. The returning veterans and the youthful challengers are the perfect blend for a parity-driven championship."
